German Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients
- 1 4-ounce package sweet cooking chocolate
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 2 egg yolks
- 2/3 Cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 1 can (5 1/3 ounces) evaporated milk
- 1 Cup Flaked Coconuts
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts
Directions
Melt chocolate and butter; stir [#transcription].
Remove from heat.
Add 2 beaten eggs, sugar, 1/4 cup sugar, milk and vanilla; mix well.
Stir together and baking powder; stir into chocolate mixture.
Spread in greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
Spread with Coconut Topper; bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes more.
Cool; cut into bars.
Coconut Topper
In medium mixing bowl beat 2 egg yolks with 2/3 cup sugar;, can of evaporated milk, and 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted.
Stir in 1 cup flaked coconut and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
